About Us

We are the First Presbyterian Church of Birmingham, MI, or as we are otherwise known, Everybody's Church.  We have been involved with Rejoicing Spirits since 2012 and with a ministry to individuals with disabilities for almost 40 years.  We began with once a month services and then moved to twice a month for 8 months out of the year.  Our service evolved over time until it is as you will see it on our PowerPoint presentations, or in the video below.  All of our skits are written by one of our members with input from staff.  We also have dinner after each service which offers us an opportunity to build relationships.  Finally we have a dedicated team of volunteers who make these services possible.  

Our hope is that these resources will be useful to congregations who are engaged in the Rejoicing Spirits community or are considering doing so.  If you have resources that you believe would be helpful to other congregations, we hope that you will send them to us and we will add them to this site, and make sure that they are linked to your congregation's website.
